How it works

Format your post in one pass

Paste on the left, copy from the right. Nothing is uploaded, and no model is called.

Your post

0 characters

How the spacing works: one or two sentences per block, separated by an invisible line, because LinkedIn collapses an empty line.

Separator: one invisible U+2800 per line. LinkedIn keeps it.

Every rewrite can be undone: untick “keep” and the original wording goes back into the post.

    See-more preview

LinkedIn shows roughly the first 200 characters before “see more”. Put the hook in the first two lines.

    The problem

Why formatting gets lost in LinkedIn

LinkedIn's post box is a plain-text field. It keeps line breaks and emoji, but it throws away the styling that Markdown or rich text carries with it: bold arrives as literal asterisks, a heading keeps its hash mark, a bullet stays a hyphen, and a genuinely empty line is collapsed so two paragraphs run together.

Copying out of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Notion or Google Docs makes it worse, because those editors wrap structure in Markdown and every assistant writes its own preamble. What looked like a finished post arrives as a wall of symbols.

    The invisible separator

A paragraph break in a LinkedIn post is really just a newline. Leave a truly empty line and LinkedIn collapses it. A line that holds exactly one U+2800 BRAILLE PATTERN BLANK character looks empty but is a real character, so LinkedIn keeps it and your paragraphs stay apart.

That is why this tool puts one U+2800 on every separator line: not at the start, not at the end, only between paragraph blocks. If you would rather see the divider, choose the visible dash line instead.

No workaround is perfect. Bold here is an appearance made of Unicode letters, not real formatting, and some screen readers read those letters differently. LinkedIn apps and browsers also wrap lines differently. Choose the plain ASCII option when accessibility or searchability matters more than looks. Rich-text paste keeps bold, headings and lists, but colour, fonts and other style-only emphasis are dropped. LinkedIn cannot carry them anyway.

    How it works

    Three steps, one paste

Nothing leaves the page and nothing is saved. The rules run in your browser as you type.

    1

    Paste your post

Drop in the raw text from ChatGPT, Claude, Notion or your own draft. Markdown is detected automatically, and plain pastes work too.

    2

    Check what was changed

Hidden characters, fake-bold letters and known AI phrases are listed with a plain-English replacement. Untick keep on any row to restore the original.

    3

    Copy into LinkedIn

The output is plain text LinkedIn accepts. Press Copy for LinkedIn, paste once, and the bold, bullets and paragraph gaps stay.

    What it does

    Everything a paste needs

Fixed text rules, run locally. No model, no upload, no account.

    Preserves line breaks

Paragraphs stay apart with an invisible separator line, so LinkedIn does not crush them into one block.

Bold and italic that survive paste

Markdown emphasis becomes bold-shaped and italic-shaped Unicode letters, which LinkedIn pastes as ordinary text.

    Nested bullets and numbered lists

List markers become real bullet symbols across three nesting levels, while numbered lists keep their numbers.

    Removes hidden AI watermarks

Zero-width spaces, tag characters, soft hyphens, look-alike spaces and fake-bold Unicode letters are stripped and counted.

    Finds and rewrites AI words

A fixed list of overused assistant phrases is matched and shown with a plain-English replacement, and each one can be undone.

    Strips the AI preamble

Lines like “Sure, here is a post” and “I hope this helps” are removed, so the paste starts with your actual hook.

    Counter and see-more preview

A live 3,000-character counter and a preview of the first 200 characters show where LinkedIn will cut the post.

Links moved to the first comment

Optionally strip URLs from the post and get a ready-to-paste first comment instead. It is a workflow choice, not a guarantee.
