2. Check your listFind formatting problems, duplicates, and domains without email settings.
3. Download resultsSave a spreadsheet with a clear explanation for every address.
1. Add your email list
Free to use. No account needed. No fixed file-size or email-count limit. Large files are processed in small parts. Capacity depends on your device and available browser storage.
One address per line, or separate addresses with commas or semicolons. For very large lists, choose a file instead of pasting lots of text.
Using Excel? Save your spreadsheet as a CSV first. Your file will stay on your device.

Ready to check your list
We do not send emails. This tool checks address formatting and the domain's email settings. It cannot confirm that a particular inbox exists or guarantee delivery. Internet access is needed for domain checks.
2. Understand your results
Passed means the format looks right and the domain has email settings. Problems include duplicates and formatting issues. Need review means we could not reach a clear answer.
| Email address | Result | What this means |

The first download follows your search and filter. The passed-rows download includes all rows that passed basic checks. Finish or stop checking before exporting. Where supported, results are written progressively to your chosen file. Otherwise, large exports use separate CSV parts: choose Download next part until finished. Original columns are kept. Risky spreadsheet text is prefixed with an apostrophe for safety.
How this free email validation tool works
Use this email list checker before reviewing or importing a contact list. It finds common formatting mistakes and repeated addresses, then checks whether each email domain has published email delivery settings. No messages are sent to the addresses in your list. Background processing keeps large jobs off the page’s main thread. It cannot guarantee zero slowdown on every device.
Choose a CSV, TSV or text file, or paste email addresses directly. Large files are read and checked in small parts, with no fixed total file-size or row-count limit. Download the results with your original columns. The amount you can process depends on available local storage, your browser and the checking service.
Does “passed” mean the email definitely works?
No. It means the address format looks correct and the domain has email settings. This basic check cannot tell whether that specific inbox exists, is full, or will accept your message.
Why do some emails need review?
A connection problem, temporary service failure, special address format, or unusual domain setup can prevent a clear answer. Keep these addresses and try again later rather than assuming they are wrong.
Where does my list go?
Your list and results stay in this browser. Only domain names, such as company.com, go directly to Google Public DNS when you start checking. We do not receive your file or list. Google sees the queried domains and your connection information. To keep memory use manageable, temporary lists and results are stored in this browser on your device. Use Clear list after downloading to remove them. We do not receive that local data.
Can I close the page while it checks?
Keep this tab open while checking. Browsers can slow down background tabs. Download your results, then use Clear list. Normal page departure attempts to clear temporary results. If the browser crashes, data may remain on your device; clear this site’s stored data in browser settings to remove it.
Can I check a very large file?
Yes. The tool reads the file in small parts instead of loading the entire list into memory. Temporary results stay on this device. There is no fixed total file-size or row-count cap, but browser storage, device speed and Google’s throttling still apply. If storage fills up, download completed rows, clear local results and try a smaller section. A single unusually large row may need shortening. No browser tool can promise unlimited capacity or zero slowdown.
What about MX records and mail providers?
MX records are a domain's published email delivery settings. The tool checks these automatically. You do not need to understand them to use it. Provider grouping is an estimate based on those settings; click an email address if you want technical details.
